Reached TMC at 3.38pm and head straight to oberservation ward. Change to hospital gown and was connected to the baby monitoring. The nurse check for dilation and was at 2.5cm and sent daddy to prepare admission documentation and pay deposit. Was given Enema to clear my bowels before moving to delivery ward around 4plus.
Finally we manage to REN until Dr Phua is back. Saw him at 7am and was dilated at 4cm. Dr decide to break water bag and given IV drop. Estimate baby should be ready to deliver around 12pm. With the contractions getting more painful and I requested for Laughing Gas.
12pm Dr Phua came back but dilation still at 7cm. Added induction medicine to IV to quicken process
1.30pm nurse check contraction reduce and further increase dosage
2.45pm dilation at 9cm almost 10cm. Where the true actions begin. Nurses started coming in getting ready to prepare for delivery
3pm Nurse started briefing me how to push and help to adjust positions to push baby head downwards
3.15pm Dr Phua came in and with all my remaining strength push baby. Episiotomy was done, Placenta came out immediately, Draw cord blood and everything is done within that 15mins. Baby was put in the warmer, draw liquid from nose n mouth, weigh and measure before putting back to warmer. Doc also checked his temperature, finger n toes before passing to Daddy to carry.
In the ward blood pressure n temperature was measured. Ordered my meals and fell asleep immediately. Dead tired and only got woke up at 7pm to feed little baby.
